Mark Wahlberg, star of the film Deepwater Horizon, says it is a tribute to the people who lost their lives in the 2010 disaster.
The explosion on a rig in the Gulf of Mexico led to one of the world's worst environmental catastrophes.

Why was there no focus on major hazard risk on the Macondo? This is the question posed in the Macondo Blowout: The Human and Organisational Causes process safety training DVD. The distinction between process safety and personal safety that Hopkins makes, answers this question. The program is relevant to process safety management.
